Shoes
The agreement we have with BB is that we buy clothes for the kids when they are here, she buys clothes for them while they are there.
So far so good. That sounds simple.. doesn’t it? hhmm..
Anyways. We buy SS12 a pair of joggers for while he is here. BB refuses to then buy him sports shoes for school, because he “has a perfectly good pair at his Dad’s house, that he will grow out of before he wears out.”
So.. now we are expected to supply shoes for both here and for there. 
Anyway.. SS12 is 
because BB is making him wear his old worn-out/too small shoes to school, and is refusing to buy him new pair. 
The kid is stuck in the middle.. we decide to do a deal with BB so that SS12 does not miss out because of his 
.. we email her the following..
BB,
SS12 has asked me if he can take the new shoes I have bought him back and forward between our two residences, so that you do not need to provide him with new sport shoes. I’m more than happy to do this, if you would agree to sending appropriate shoes for SD8 to wear to church when she is with me.
It makes sense financially for neither of us to double up on these items.
Please let me know if you are agreeable to this arrangement.

Sounds like a fair trade, right? SD8 has nearly grown out of the shoes we have provided for her here.. she only wears them 2 mornings a month..
We hear nothing back.. pick up the skids and.. SD8 has brought some nice shoes with her! 
we feel we have actually had some kind of positive interaction with BB.
But.. 
SD8 says “I asked mum if I could bring my other shoes, but she wouldn’t let me. She said I had to bring these. I don’t know what I’m going to wear.. ’cause these don’t fit me anymore. Maybe I can squeeze into the ones I have at your house.”
Bitch sent shoes that were too small for her!! I guess in an attempt to force us to go out and buy more!
I cannot believe this woman. She tries to screw us out of anything and everything! Of course, the new sports shoes are now safe inside her 
never to be seen by us again.
