There is no way on G*d’s earth…

I recently received SD9’s Basic Skills report. I’m thrilled with the results she has achieved in English, but I think she could do with some help in maths.
I have set her up with the “Mathletics†that is available from the school. She has really enjoyed playing against other students from around Australia, however the school license only allows the online tutoring during school hours and the children have not been using it in class. I can see from the way she approaches maths problems that she would benefit greatly for time being set aside for her to do the extra coaching. She has already improved her skills on the trial I have set up.
To continue the license only costs $50 for the full year, discounted from $99, I’m prepared to pay for half if you can manage the other half.
Please let me know ASAP as I would like her to get a good start for the upcoming academic year and some coaching over the school holidays would definitely benefit her.

PS I am transferring the $99 for SS12’s summer camp now.
There is no way that she is going to part with $25. DH and I are taking bets on how she is going to try and wiggle out of it. DH thinks she is going to play the “poor single Mother” line. I’ve got bets on “I know my daughter better than you and you are WRONG if you think she needs help” line.
What should we bet? I think the winner should get breakfast in bed and no washing up for the day. 
Little does she know that we are already resigned to paying the whole $50. We are going to go for 50/50 custody in a year or so, but to do that we have to show that DH is involved in the children’s day-to-day life.
We get to add another piece of evidence to the file, and she get’s to feel like she “wins” by making us pay the extra $25.
