Update to: Would she dare?
Basically BB wanted to pick SS12 up from camp on our contact time and KEEP HIM overnight! 
We obviously put a rocket under her

As I have only just had a chance to check up on arrival times – I haven’t been able to respond to you.
Thus bus isn’t expected back from Summer Camp until between 3.30 and 4pm. That is when I am expecting SS12 home. He knows how he’s getting back and is looking forward to the trip and if you turn up to collect him when he has other plans he will NOT be happy. I will get in touch with the Youth Department and let them know that you are NOT to collect him as arrangements have already been made for him to get home by me – as we previously agreed.
I don’t appreciate your attitude about this summer camp business. If you’ve been silly enough to make plans that include SS12 at 2pm on a Sunday afternoon straight after a summer camp – when he’ll probably come back exhausted – you need to think again and get to know your son. Also, traffic is unpredictable and who is to say they get away EXACTLY at 9am or that they can’t stop for breaks on the way down. Stop being so insecure and trying to be so controlling of your son. Believe me – he doesn’t appreciate it. I told you I will let you know when they’re arriving (or close to arriving) and I will.

Like the Youth Department will stop DH picking up his own son on HIS contact time because Slug demands it. 
Who the f*ck does she think she is?
My guess is we f*cked her little plan up so well, she decided not to go at all, and bought him a bus ticket at the last minute. When we spoke to him before he left for camp she was definitely driving him back.
NOW he is coming back on the bus!
I still don’t see why he has to go back to her place tho’ 
I guess that will be the subject of the next email. 
Why am I not surprised? 
DH may go and meet SS12 at the bus tho’
The reason we wanted him back, is that we are leaving for holiday tomorrow and we need to get all of his clothes clean to repack for the trip.. and we want him to have an early night. Her original time of “late in the day” wouldn’t work.. and we didn’t want her keeping him all afternoon, which is why the 2pm deadline. So 4 pm OK.. she just THINKS she is messing us around… it’s annoying but not a huge impact.
I’m pretty happy with the outcome.. she didn’t want us to know he was coming back on the bus, because she want’s to spend some time with him.
If she had been upfront with us from the start and just said “The bus gets back at around 3pm. Why don’t I collect him just to say Hi and then you can collect him from my place” we would have said “no problem”.
Stupid slug needs the cloak-and-dagger 
tho’.
