Pants on fire…
Poor kid. When she got home (after having a tooth pulled) the first thing she said was “Does Mummy know? Will she be angry?” 
She asked me again later if I thought her mother would be mad at her. I told her that no, Mummy loved her and wouldn’t want her to suffer, and that if she was cross, she needed to talk to Daddy about that, that it was between them, and she was not to worry about it.
Anyways, we sent the following to 
. We wanted her to get mad at US instead of SD9 about the tooth. Figured the best way to do that was to email her about it before SD9 went back.

During the course of the contact time SD9 was here with me, it became apparent that she had some long-standing dental issues. Therefore I took her to the dentist on Friday 27th for a check-up and whilst there Dr Txxxxx performed the following procedures:
(1) Extraction of a rotten baby tooth that was collapsing in upon itself, causing a misalignment in the adult tooth that was emerging from above. Because the baby tooth was collapsing the molars behind it have moved forward. Dr Txxxxx is expecting that the adult tooth will come through slowly pushing the rear molars back to their correct position and that the persistent gum irritation SD9 was experiencing will be alleviated.
(2)Filling a large cavity on one of SD9’s molars, which apparently was causing her pain such that she was uncomfortable chewing on that side of her mouth.
I will send the instructions from the dentist with SD9.

CFDH - well that’s great to know that it’s been seen too. I have a dental appointment booked for her up here which I will now cancel.
She started complaining about a sore tooth during the last week we were away so I told her I would take her to the dentist after she got back from her fathers. I’m sure she’ll be feeling a lot better now. As for the molar coming through in a strange place - I discovered that when she was complaining about the sore tooth. She’d had an ulcer up on her gum for a while that we’ve been treating and I thought was going away, then during the holidays she told me it was still sore. She showed it to me again and I found that a tooth was growing there! Glad to know it’s been taken care.

So, slug, the dental problems that she has been plagued with for MONTHS, and that you have refused to address, you suddenly became aware of THE WEEK before she came to us?
You didn’t consider that the ulcer in her mouth above a rotting tooth might be a problem!?
Interesting that SD9 never mentioned the appointment you had booked!?
