These threads about being invisible are great reading..

Since DH and I got together, BB has insisted I be invisible. I was not supposed to turn up for do/pu, not supposed to be friendly towards any of their mutual friends, and not supposed to accompany DH to Church. As she said to DH, “you can have a girlfriend as long as I don’t have to see her.” Thanks for the permission BB.

Most of the time I stay in the background. I think BB feels that she can start coming to DH and my Church because I will do what I have always done.. move into the background. I think she feels that when it comes down to it, I will stay out of her way, wherever she will be.

Well, no more. If she is going to come to my Church, and get in my face like that, I will not be invisible anymore.

Up until now, all communication about skids is done via email between DH and BB. (I write all of DH’s, but she doesn’t know that.)

So this weekend, we are sending the skids home with a handwritten note from yours truly! After all, it was ME that spent 3 hours treating SD for headlice and picking the eggs out of her hair. I want the pleasure of informing BB about that myself.

It’s stupid for me to be such a silent partner in all this when I do so much of the work.
