skids presents from BB..
most years she tries to compete with us.. but this year I think she just decided not to bother..Â
SD10’s birthday was on the 18th Dec.. BB bought her 4 books, and told her that if she liked them, she would buy her the other 36 in the series. SD10 is telling everyone that BB gave her 40 books for her birthday, but what’s the bet the other 36 never show up?
She hasn’t given them their Christmas gifts yet.. but has told SD10 that if she “hasn’t thought of anything by February” that she will give SD10 $40 to spend on whatever she wants. 
Given that FIL gave each of the kids $20, and BB “put it in the bank”, I think BB will be “recycling” that gift as her own.
BB has gone to her father’s for Christmas, so I guess she is thinking that there is no point celebrating Christmas with her own kids because they are with us.
