Step Lair

I’m not a great cook, but there is one dish I’ve recently resurrected out of my paltry collection that the kids really really LOVE, and that is their absolute favorite.

SS13 asked me today if we can have it every time they come as a special Sunday lunch. I thought that was a great idea.. so that is what we will be having from now on on Sundays. I feel like I’m making some progress with the kids especially in the food area. (And especially SS13 - who has had a “Cornflower can’t do anything right” teenager attitude for the last 6 months or so.)

Anyway, I just got a text message from him asking for the recipe (presumably for BB.)

I don’t want to give BB the recipe. I like that I can cook something the kids love and that is a special dinner for us as a family, but I feel a bit petty not giving it.
